At home photo shoot @Ashley Chesebro, what I would do is try using wither a chair, bed, couch, or even stairs to hold up the blanket, or whatever you want to use. Maybe pin it up with clothes pins, or bag closer(s). Just make sure the backdrop doesn't hit the floor or furniture in a way, that it creates a horizontal line.
